Telemicroscopy for iPath-2 ready

The telemicroscopy module for iPath-2 is finally ready again and installed on our telepathology server. The module is compatible with the old microscope-controller, but you have to adjust the connection settings. You can find the directions in the new telemicroscopy section in the maual.

An diesem Meeting wollen wir erstmals unsere Erfahrungen im Umgang mit iPath und Telemedizin generell im Rahmen eines kleinen Meetings diskutieren. Die wichtigste Komponente an dem Meeting ist eine Diskussion und Strategie zur weiteren Organisation der Zusammenarbeit im Rahmen unserer Arbeitsgruppe und auch in den "virtuellen Instituten".

iPath-2 release candidate 1 is out

Finally, after some months of coding and writing about 15908 lines of php code, the first release candidate of the new iPath-2 telemedicine platform is out. The current version is available for download from the sourceforge site. This version includes all modules developed so far.

Telemedicine Server moved to iPath-2

Finally version 2 of iPath is ready.  Our main telemedicine server has been upgraded and all data from the old system has been migrated to the new version. There are still a few minor bugs to fix, but generally, the upgrade was usccessful. The server is again ready to be used.
